On Sunday, May 18, former Blue Valley North High School standout Blake Garrett’s current collegiate team the Pittsburg State Gorillas lost 10-8 against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at ISG Field at 4 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks in the tournament.

The Pittsburg State Gorillas’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 3 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field.
