Former De Soto High School standout Makenzie Farmer helped her collegiate team, the Central Missouri Jennies, defeat the Washburn Ichabods 64-55 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.

The matchup, held at Taylor Center at 7:30 p.m., marked the Jennies’ first tournament game against the Ichabods.

Central Missouri is set to play its next tournament game on Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Taylor Center.
