Illinois State Redbirds, the current team of former Olathe South Senior High School standout Paige McLeod, earned an 11-3 victory over the Drake Bulldogs in their NCAA Division I softball matchup Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m.
The contest was held at Marian Kneer Stadium. It marked their third meeting with the Bulldogs this season. The Redbirds also took an 8-5 win over Drake in their previous game Friday, March 13.
McLeod pitched four innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out one batter.
The Redbirds’ next game is set for Tuesday, March 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Flames Field against the UIC Flames.
