Illinois State’s Paige McLeod competes in 3-2 victory over Evansville

Illinois State Redbirds, led by former Olathe South Senior High School standout Paige McLeod, claimed a 3-2 win against the Evansville Purple Aces in their NCAA Division I softball matchup on Friday, March 6, at 2:30 p.m.

The matchup marked their first meeting of the season and was held at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium.

McLeod worked six innings, surrendering two earned runs while tallying four walks and four strikeouts.

The Redbirds’ next contest is set for Friday, March 6, at 5 p.m. at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium versus Evansville Purple Aces.
