Illinois State’s Paige McLeod competes in NCAA Division I softball victory over Drake

On Friday, March 13, at 1 p.m., Illinois State Redbirds pitcher Paige McLeod, an alumna of Olathe South Senior High School, helped her team to an 8-0 win over the Drake Bulldogs in an NCAA Division I softball contest.

Marian Kneer Stadium was the venue for the game, which marked their first meeting with the Bulldogs this season.

McLeod tossed six innings, allowing one walk and collecting five strikeouts.

The Redbirds are set to play their next game Friday, March 13, at 3:30 p.m. at Marian Kneer Stadium, once again facing the Drake Bulldogs.
