Former Blue Valley High School standout Preston Giltner contributed to Pittsburg State’s NCAA Division II victory over Central Missouri on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. The Gorillas defeated the Mules 13-4 at Al Ortolani Field in their first game against Central Missouri this season.
The matchup was held at Al Ortolani Field, marking the teams’ opening meeting for the season.
Giltner pitched 2.2 innings, giving up two earned runs while striking out two and walking two.
Pittsburg State’s next contest is set for Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m., once again at Al Ortolani Field against the Central Missouri Mules.
