Sharice Davids, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Kansas’s 3rd Congressional District, has been vocal on several significant issues facing her constituents through recent social media communications.

On April 29, 2025, Sharice Davids expressed her concerns via Twitter regarding the current administration’s policies, marking the 100th day since President Biden returned to office. In her tweet, Davids asserted, “Today marks @POTUS’ 100th day back in office. #KS03 families are already paying the price of his reckless policies. From rising costs to attacks on our freedoms, we deserve better. I’ll keep standing up for our community and delivering real, bipartisan results — not chaos.”

On the same day, Davids showed support for LGBTQI+ rights. Emphasizing the importance of non-discrimination, she posted “Most Americans agree: no one should face discrimination for who they are or who they love. I’m proud to help reintroduce the #EqualityAct — because LGBTQI+ folks deserve full, equal protection under the law.”

The following day, April 30, 2025, Davids challenged the President’s fiscal plans, highlighting potential adverse effects on state assistance programs. She stated, “We can make the government more efficient. I’ll work with anyone to get there. But @POTUS’ partisan budget would gut KanCare and take food away from Kansans, just to give tax breaks to billionaires. Watch more”

Sharice Davids, born in Frankfurt in 1980 and residing in Roeland Park, has been a U.S. Congressional member since she succeeded Kevin Yoder in 2019. Her educational background includes a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
