U.S. Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas attended a roundtable event at the White House alongside President Donald Trump, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins. The gathering focused on discussing the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission Report.

During the event, President Trump expressed his appreciation for American farmers, stating, “I have to say we have the greatest farmers in the world, and we love our farmers.” He highlighted their importance in elections and praised Senator Marshall for his representation of agricultural interests.

Senator Marshall acknowledged President Trump’s recent achievements overseas and described it as one of his greatest professional days. He also recognized his wife Laina’s contributions as a MAHA nurse and grandmother.

Marshall addressed various health issues such as diabetes during pregnancy, mental health among youth, obesity rates, and prescription drug use. He emphasized the role of farmers in improving soil health and reducing pesticide use. “The American farmer and rancher were the original environmentalists,” he said, expressing confidence in their commitment to these efforts.
