U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) continued his 100-stop tour last week with several visits in Reno County. As part of the tour, Senator Marshall attended the Reno County Farm Bureau annual meeting, where he discussed efforts by Congress and President Trump to support Kansas farmers and ranchers.

He also hosted a roundtable discussion with members of the Kansas Hospital Association. The conversation focused on the $50 billion rural healthcare fund and his legislative work aimed at supporting rural hospitals.

During his visit, Senator Marshall toured Grasshopper Mower in Moundridge. The company is family-owned and has received multiple awards for exporting. Grasshopper mowers are used on the White House lawn and have been recognized by President Trump.

Additionally, Senator Marshall visited Hutchinson Community College with its president, Dr. Tricia Paramore. The college is expanding its partnerships and programs to address local workforce needs and provide students with opportunities to learn skills and earn certifications for future careers.
