U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who serves Kansas’s 3rd district, has highlighted her recent legislative and community engagement efforts through a series of posts on her official social media account.

On September 17, 2025, Davids announced the introduction of new bipartisan legislation focused on mental health support for LGBTQ+ youth. She stated, “After reckless cuts, I’m proud to introduce a bipartisan bill today to make sure LGBTQ+ youth have access to the 988 crisis hotline. Growing up isn’t easy, but every young person deserves support when they need it most. “.

The following day, she addressed constituents about ongoing outreach activities. On September 18, 2025, she posted, “Thanks for joining my Call With Your Congresswoman last night! Always great chatting directly with folks. If we didn’t get to your question, give us a call at (913) 621-0832.”

Later that same day, Davids referenced healthcare savings attributed to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), noting her continued efforts in this area. She wrote on September 18, 2025: “Last year, over 160,000 Kansans saved an average of $700 on health care premiums thanks to ACA tax credits I voted for. I’m working to make those savings permanent — so families keep more money in their pockets.”

Sharice Davids has represented Kansas’s 3rd district in Congress since replacing Kevin Yoder in 2019 and is currently based in Roeland Park. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and now aged 42, Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
