Rep. Sharice Davids, who represents Kansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted local economic growth and education initiatives in a series of posts on her social media account.

On April 19, 2026, Davids wrote, “KC’s tech and manufacturing sectors are growing — and a major supply chain bill I voted for is helping drive that growth. Great meeting with @KCTechCouncil to talk about it!”

The following day, she posted about her background and commitment to public education: “I’m a proud product of Kansas public schools — and investing in them means investing in our future. Great discussion with #KS03 superintendents!” This statement reflects her personal history as an alumna of Kansas public schools.

On April 20, 2026, Davids also acknowledged a longtime political figure from the state: “Happy 90th birthday, Senator Roberts! Thank you for a lifetime of service to Kansas.”

Sharice Davids has served as the representative for Kansas’s 3rd District since replacing Kevin Yoder in 2019. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BA in 2007 and earned her JD from Cornell University in 2010.
