Sharice Davids, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 3rd district, has recently shared updates on her legislative activities and local engagements through social media. Davids, who replaced Kevin Yoder in 2019, continues to focus on issues affecting her constituents and broader national concerns.

On June 11, 2025, Davids invited her followers to “Watch my full Q&A with the USDA Secretary: https://t.co/mwIbk6GWDT”. This engagement underscores her involvement in agricultural discussions at the federal level.

The following day, June 12, she announced a collaborative effort with Representative Frank Lucas through a bipartisan bill aimed at improving food access for Tribal communities. She stated, “Many Tribal communities don’t have easy access to a grocery store. @RepFrankLucas and I’s new bipartisan bill helps Tribal governments get healthy, affordable food to families who need it.” This initiative highlights her commitment to addressing nutritional disparities among indigenous populations.

On June 13, Davids expressed support for domestic manufacturing during a visit to Amsted Rail in Kansas’ 3rd District. She noted her pride in seeing local industry contributions by saying “Proud to see Made in America in action at Amsted Rail in #KS03 — supporting our rail industry, creating good-paying Kansas jobs, and showing what strong domestic manufacturing looks like.” This visit aligns with her advocacy for job creation and economic development within her district.

Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
