In a post published at 17:01 UTC, Davids wrote: “There’s almost nothing I hate more than when people cheat the system, especially when families are working harder than ever. I’m fighting to cut fraud and waste so taxpayer dollars actually go where they’re supposed to.”

Later that day at 20:22 UTC, she recognized winners of a local art competition by stating: “Drum roll… Congrats to the winners of this year’s #KS03 Congressional Art Competition! Sharice Davids has served as the representative for Kansas’s 3rd District since replacing Kevin Yoder in 2019. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids earned her BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2007 and received a JD from Cornell University in 2010.
