U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who serves Kansas’s 3rd district in Congress, posted a series of updates on her official social media account highlighting recent events and issues. The posts covered topics ranging from congressional charity sports to missing Indigenous persons data and education policy.

On July 17, 2025, Davids announced her participation in a bipartisan charity event: “Team Congress took home the W at the Congressional Softball Game! Proud to play alongside my colleagues and to raise money for breast cancer awareness and honor survivors, fighters, and those we’ve lost.”

The following day, Davids addressed concerns about missing information critical to locating Indigenous people: “Vital data to help find missing Indigenous people has vanished — and the Trump Administration needs to fix it. Families deserve answers. Justice can’t wait.” This statement comes amid ongoing national conversations about efforts to address cases of missing and murdered Indigenous individuals.

Later on July 18, Davids commented on recent developments affecting educational programs: “STEM programs, after-school care, and teacher training were at risk. Students and parents pushed back — and I’m glad the administration listened.”

Sharice Davids has represented Kansas’s 3rd District in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Kevin Yoder. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010).
