On June 8, 2025, Davids expressed pride in celebrating the inaugural class of ReNew Democracy Fellows under the New Democrat Coalition. She mentioned her role as honorary co-chair and emphasized the significance of these future leaders from diverse backgrounds bringing new perspectives to public service. “Proud to celebrate the first class of @NewDemCoalition ReNew Democracy Fellows! Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and resides in Roeland Park. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010).
