Rep. Sharice Davids, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Kansas’ 3rd district since 2019, recently highlighted several local initiatives and engagements through her official social media account.
On April 12, 2026, Davids posted about new federal support for energy reliability at a major regional medical institution: “I helped secure new federal incentives for @KCBPU to strengthen power reliability at the University of Kansas Medical Center.”
The following day, on April 13, she shared news regarding developments in Spring Hill, Kansas: “Lots of exciting things coming to @SpringHillKS! Thanks for chatting, Mayor Young.”
Later that same day, Davids described her outreach efforts with students: “Kicked off the week with @OlatheEastHawks students answering questions about my job in Congress and working together to get things done. The next generation is paying attention!”
Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010). Davids succeeded Kevin Yoder as representative of Kansas’s 3rd district beginning her term in 2019.
