U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who represents Kansas’ 3rd district in Congress, posted a series of updates on April 14, 2026, highlighting her recent legislative and community activities.
In a tweet from the afternoon of April 14, Davids wrote: “Proud to host a transit briefing ahead of the @FIFAWorlCup. We’re bringing leaders together to make sure our communities are ready to shine on the global stage! https://t.co/kxJNMXIHBk” (April 14, 2026).
Later that day, she announced new legislation introduced with colleagues Rep. Derek Schmidt and Rep. Emanuel Cleaver: “Today, @RepDerekSchmidt, @repcleaver, and I introduced a bill to designate the Quindaro Townsite in KCK as a National Historic Landmark.

Sharice Davids has represented Kansas’s 3rd District since replacing Kevin Yoder in Congress in 2019. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and earned her JD from Cornell University.
