Rep. Sharice Davids, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 3rd district since 2019, recently shared updates on her activities and initiatives through a series of tweets.

On July 4, 2025, Rep. Davids expressed enthusiasm about the new AdventHealth facility in Lenexa, describing it as “a big step forward for accessible, quality care” in one of the fastest-growing areas of her district. The tweet can be viewed here.

The following day, July 5, she announced that Kansas will host the World Cup and emphasized the need for “safe, reliable transportation.” She mentioned collaborating with local stakeholders to ensure these needs are met. This announcement is available here.

Later on July 5, Rep. Davids highlighted her commitment to supporting local manufacturing programs in Kansas. She stated that by producing more domestically, both consumers and businesses benefit significantly. Her efforts to maintain these supportive programs were outlined here.

Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BA in 2007 and earned a JD from Cornell University in 2010.
