U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who has represented Kansas’ 3rd district in Congress since 2019, recently posted a series of updates on her official social media account highlighting her stances on reproductive health care, infrastructure, and community safety.

On April 8, 2026, Davids reaffirmed her support for reproductive rights by stating: “Kansans made it clear: politicians have no place in personal health care decisions. Proud to stand with @PPGreatPlains to fight back against dangerous efforts to roll back reproductive health care.”

Later that day, she addressed local infrastructure efforts: “Infrastructure is the roads you drive, the bridges you cross, and the jobs in our community. Great visit with @RinkerMaterials to see how they’re helping build #KS03!”

On April 9, Davids discussed public safety after meeting with law enforcement: “Great meeting with @ShawneeKSPolice to hear what they’re doing to keep Kansas families safe and welcome in our community.”

Sharice Davids has served as the U.S. Representative for Kansas’s 3rd District since defeating Kevin Yoder in 2019. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
