U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who has served Kansas’s 3rd District in Congress since 2019, posted a series of updates on July 25, 2025, highlighting her participation in community events and legislative efforts.

In a tweet posted at 16:02 UTC, Davids wrote: “Proud to play in the Congressional Softball Game, supporting women battling breast cancer — and picking up a win! https://t.co/CsO7SUanBo”.

Later that day at 18:56 UTC, she acknowledged the contributions of her office interns: “So proud of our summer interns! Their drive, smarts, and commitment to KS-03 shined from day one. Excited to see what they take on next! https://t.co/7O4AN1jGY8”.

At 21:11 UTC, Davids addressed child care affordability and worker compensation through her legislative work: “Working parents shouldn’t have to choose between paying the bills and paying for child care. My legislation caps costs, boosts worker pay, and puts Kansas families first. https://t.co/O2qJkkfgDO”.

Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010). Davids replaced Kevin Yoder as representative for Kansas’s 3rd District when she took office in 2019.
