Cost of college went up for all students at MidAmerica Nazarene University

Tuition and fees rose 0.2 percent for 2018-19 at MidAmerica Nazarene University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kansas students paid $29,736 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $66 more than the $29,670 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 219 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.7 million and 157 students took out student loans totaling more than $933,956.

Including all undergraduates (1,875), 925 students used grants or scholarships totaling $16.7 million, and 840 students took out $6.8 million in federal student loans.
