Three first half goals proved to be too much for Baker to overcome on Saturday as they fell to Park, 3-1.
Baker controlled a lot of the game, taking a total of 13 shots with six on target, while the Wildcats held Park to just five shots with three on target.
Just over four minutes into the year, Park scored to make it 1-0, and then in the 24th minute extended their lead to 2-0. Just five minutes later, the Pirates added another goal and made it 3-0 heading into halftime.
Just over 10 minutes into the second half, Iwan Roberts found Gyorgy Kamaras on a set piece who scored to cut the lead to 3-1, but that is the closest Baker would get as they eventually lost the game, 3-1.
Baker is now 4-5-2 on the year and 2-2-1 in Heart play. They will be back in action on Oct. 5, when they travel to Atchison, Kan., to take on Benedictine College at 7:30 p.m.
