Men's Soccer Rallies for Road Win

The Kansas Christian men's soccer team rallied from a 2-0 deficit for a 4-2 win at Manhattan Christian on Wednesday. The Falcons are ranked #8 in the NCCAA Division II Top 20 Rankings and now have a record of 6-5.

Manhattan Christian scored two goals in a four minute span in the first half to take the early 2-0 lead and the Falcons would continue to trail 2-0 at halftime. Roberto Mugabe cut the deficit in half just minutes into the second half. Mugabe would strike again less than ten minutes later to tie the match with another unassisted goal.

As time winded down in the second half, a draw looked to be in order before Fred Muganza netted a goal to give the Falcons a 3-2 lead. Tales Rocio would then put the nail in the coffin with a goal in the 89th minute to put the Falcons up 4-2. Mugabe assisted both goals giving him two goals and two assists in the match.

The Falcons now turn their attention to Friday when they travel to Joplin, Mo. for a 4pm match against Ozark Christian College.
