…Are you ready for it?

Taylor Swift takes the stage at Arrowhead Stadium on July 7 and 8 for her Eras Tour shows where she’ll travel back through her musical catalog of 10 albums. To celebrate, we’ve compiled a list of Overland Park attractions for each album to get you ready for the show!

1. Taylor Swift: “A Place in this World” — Overland Park Farmers’ Market

The Overland Park Farmers’ Market has vendors from all over the world in one place. There are 28 different languages spoken among them all! Shoppers can expect a wide variety of products including fresh produce, local foods and unique specialty items.

2. Fearless (Taylor’s Version): “White Horse” — Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead

So maybe we don’t have any white horses here, but we have plenty of other colors! Enjoy a wagon ride pulled by a team of Belgian draft horses or say “hello” to our ponies at the petting pen.

3. Speak Now: “The Story of Us” — Johnson County Libraries

Taylor loves a good literary reference, so why not check out a book in her honor? You can visit the Blue Valley Library, Central Resource Library or the Oak Park Library in Overland Park and discover all types of stories. Next chapter.

4. Red (Taylor’s Version): “Run” — Matt Ross and Tomahawk Ridge Community Centers

If you need a good workout (perhaps a run?), look no further than our City’s community centers. These facilities provide state-of-the-art fitness equipment, experienced trainers and class instructors, and much more. 

5. 1989: “Out of the Woods” — St. Andrews and Sykes/Lady Golf Courses

If you want to feel like you just emerged from the forest, play a round or two at one of our City’s golf courses. St. Andrews and Sykes/Lady offer tree-lined courses that challenge both novice and experienced athletes.

6. Reputation: “This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” — City Pools

This song features the line, “Jump into the pool from the balcony.” While we don’t advise this for obvious reasons, you’re more than welcome to jump into the pool from one of our diving boards! Visit Bluejacket, Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center, Stonegate or Young’s Pool for some pool-time fun. 

7. Lover: “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince” — Star Spangled Spectacular

What’s more “Americana” than an Independence Day celebration? We hope you enjoyed Fourth of July festivities at the Star Spangled Spectacular for an evening of food trucks, live music and fireworks.

8. Folklore: “The Lakes” — City Lakes

There’s no Windermere peaks here, but Overland Park has plenty of lakes to explore. Relax by the water or try your luck with a fishing rod at South Lake, Summercrest Lake, Amesbury Lake, Regency Lake, Kingston Lake or Wilderness Lake.

9. Evermore: “Willow” and “Ivy” — Overland Park Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

Willow, ivy, peonies, wildflowers and more can be found at the Arboretum! Here, you’ll experience gardens with more than 1,700 species of plants, a variety of landscapes and different educational opportunities around every bend in the path.

10. Midnights: “Mastermind” — Strang Park

Taylor sings “Checkmate, I couldn’t lose,” in this closing track, but can you say the same? Test your chess prowess at Strang Park’s life-sized chess board. Remember, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
