Of the 605,154 citizens living in Johnson County in 2021, 75.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 458,322 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 223,663 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 234,659 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Johnson County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 75.6%.
