Senator Marshall begins by stating, "President Joe Biden's failed leadership has resulted in skyrocketing inflation, crippling interest rates, a humanitarian and national security crisis at our border, lawlessness in our streets, and endless wars through weakness." He goes on to assert that President Biden lacks accomplishments to run on and is now trying to divert attention from his record of failures.

The senator criticizes President Biden's approach to border policies, claiming that the reversal of President Trump's successful border policies has led to a national security threat. He argues, "On day one, President Biden reversed President Trump's successful border policies and upended our national security for an invasion of terrorists, Chinese nationals, and millions of illegal 'gotaways' at our wide-open border who are now living right here in our heartland."

Furthermore, Senator Marshall believes that President Biden's disregard for borders and the financial burden it places on taxpayers undermines democracy. He states, "I'd argue that erasing our borders for all practical purposes, allowing criminals into our country, and paying for their health care, housing, cell phones, and transportation to the tune of nearly $500 billion a year of taxpayer dollars is a threat to our democracy."

The op-ed also highlights concerns about President Biden's approach to the constitution, existing laws, and the judiciary. Senator Marshall claims that President Biden undermines democracy by ignoring the constitution, disregarding laws, and undermining the highest courts to push his own political agenda.

Senator Marshall concludes his op-ed by criticizing President Biden's administration for creating a "Disinformation Governance Board." He describes it as a "dystopian program to give unelected government bureaucrats the authority to determine what the American people can say online in the name of 'national security.'" This, according to the senator, poses a threat to freedom of speech.
