Speaking about the rise in crime and the influx of fentanyl, Senator Marshall praised local law enforcement officers for their vigilance. Regarding the impeachment trial for Secretary Mayorkas, Senator Marshall expressed the urgency of the situation, stating, "Americans are demanding the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas. He broke the law... for the first time in American history, the leader of the Senate, Chuck Schumer, is going to table this process. So we’re gonna do everything we can to fight against tabling it." Senator Marshall underscored the need for transparency, asserting, "We think that America deserves an open hearing."
In his critique of Secretary Mayorkas's actions, Senator Marshall accused him of violating the law by failing to enforce border security measures and abusing his power in granting parole to a large number of individuals. Marshall insisted on accountability, stating, "Secretary Mayorkas should be held accountable."
