U.S. Senator Roger Marshall appeared on Fox Business's "Mornings with Maria" to express his concerns about the Biden-Harris Administration's handling of emergency response funds and border security. Senator Marshall criticized the administration for reallocating FEMA resources, which he claims were diverted from hurricane relief efforts to support housing for migrants.

Senator Marshall stated, “Let’s look at things ‘holistically’ today, that this is an incompetent Biden-Harris Administration.” He argued that the administration has not effectively addressed the needs in North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. According to him, “What the Democrats do is they create policies, and then they want more government programs, more money to solve the problem. But at the end of the day, they’re not getting the job done in North Carolina.”

He further claimed that $1.4 billion intended for FEMA was redirected elsewhere by the administration. “I would argue that the Biden-Harris administration has funneled it in different places,” said Marshall. He expressed concern over what he perceives as a lack of prioritization in funding allocation.

In addition to discussing disaster relief funds, Senator Marshall highlighted his legislative proposal known as the BE GONE Act. This bill aims to deport illegal immigrants convicted of sex crimes residing in the United States. He linked these issues to broader concerns about national security and border policies under Vice President Kamala Harris's leadership.

Marshall remarked on perceived threats from open border policies: “The Democrats don’t want to bring attention that Kamala’s ‘holistic’ approach to securing the border is not working... We have no idea where they are.” He emphasized safety concerns felt by citizens even in states like Kansas.

Looking ahead, Senator Marshall expressed confidence in former President Donald Trump's ability to address these challenges if re-elected: “When Donald Trump gets in office, he’s going to have a tough job, but he’s the man to do it.”
