U.S. Senator Roger Marshall appeared on Newsmax's National Report to discuss recent political developments affecting American agriculture. The conversation focused on President Joe Biden's remarks about Trump supporters and Vice President Kamala Harris's policies impacting farmers.

Senator Marshall pointed out his op-ed titled "Farmers and Ranchers Turn to Trump to Deliver," which contrasts the agricultural policies of former President Donald Trump with those of the current administration.

During the interview, Marshall addressed the issue of altered records concerning Biden's comments on Trump supporters: “I think this is the next chapter on why don’t Americans trust their federal government anymore. We see our jobs numbers again, were doctored as well, and we got a very horrible jobs report today.”

He further expressed concerns about values in the Midwest being under attack: “At the end of the day, I think that people in the Midwest that we’re concerned about our values being attacked and lying and deceit is the opposite of the values that we were raised on. That we were raised on values like faith and family, and country."

Regarding Vice President Harris's impact on agriculture, Marshall stated: “Kamala Harris is going to continue this same aggressive assault on American agriculture, American energy, and those are really the same thing.” He criticized increased regulations and costs affecting farmers' incomes.

Marshall praised Trump's efforts for agriculture: “President Trump, on the other hand – we did great under him in the agricultural world. He rolled back regulations; he gave us trade agreements... So, President Trump has always prioritized agriculture.”

The senator highlighted Trump's support for farmers through trade agreements and financial aid during market challenges.
