On Monday, March 24, former Bishop Miege High School standout Payton Verhulst’s current collegiate team the Oklahoma Sooners won 96-62 against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Lloyd Noble Center, this was the first game against the Iowa Hawkeyes during the championship.

Payton Verhulst’s hometown is De Soto and game position is guard.
