Shawnee Mission East High School standout Wes Lyerly’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Sunday, Feb. 16

On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Shawnee Mission East High School standout Wes Lyerly’s current college team, the Indiana State Sycamores, won 36-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wagner Seahawks.

The game took place at Caromont Health Park. This was their third matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Sycamores’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Swanson Stadium against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
