U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who has represented Kansas’s 3rd district since 2019, recently used her social media platform to highlight issues affecting Kansas, including rural hospital closures, manufacturing investments, and the importance of bipartisan legislation for agriculture.

On July 21, 2025, Davids addressed concerns about healthcare access in rural areas, stating: "Kansas has already lost too many rural hospitals — and extreme Medicaid cuts will put even more lives at risk."

The following day, she commented on developments in domestic manufacturing with a reference to a major facility in the state: "The @PanasonicNA plant has hit the ground running! Thrilled to support this historic investment in domestic manufacturing." This post reflects ongoing efforts to bolster local economies through industrial growth.

Later on July 22, Davids highlighted the contributions of Kansas farmers and advocated for legislative action: "Kansas farmers keep our shelves stocked and our economy strong. A bipartisan Farm Bill means lower food prices and stronger rural communities. Let’s get it done."

Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010). Her tenure in Congress began after succeeding Kevin Yoder in 2019. As a member of Congress representing Kansas's 3rd District, Davids continues to focus on issues central to her constituents such as healthcare access, economic development, and agricultural policy.
