Rep. Sharice Davids, who has represented Kansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared updates on her social media account highlighting both lighthearted and legislative moments from her workday.
On July 23, 2025, Davids posted a humorous remark about her staff keeping outtakes from her work: "Who gave my team permission to save the bloopers!? https://t.co/rxskNcoHeM".
Later that day, she referenced her background as a professional mixed martial arts fighter and announced bipartisan efforts for boxer protections: "As a former pro MMA fighter, I know the risks athletes take every time they step into the ring. So, I’m teaming up across the aisle to make sure pro boxers get the fair treatment and safety protections they deserve. #AliBoxingRevivalAct" (July 23, 2025).
In another post on July 23, Davids discussed economic opportunities tied to sustainable energy following a meeting with Citizens' Climate Lobby: "Had a great conversation with @citizensclimate about how sustainable energy and climate solutions can drive economic growth and create good-paying jobs. https://t.co/LH7lNmq7DA".
