Rep. Sharice Davids, who represents Kansas’ 3rd congressional district in the U.S. Congress, has recently highlighted local businesses and community projects in a series of posts on her official Twitter account.
On August 13, 2025, Davids posted about The 130 Collective in Garnett, writing: "The 130 Collective is a shared space in Garnett that brings together several local businesses under one roof — a great example of how #KS03 communities are growing and thriving. Stop by to shop and support local!"
Later that same day, she expressed appreciation for Osawatomie, stating: "Communities like @OsawatomieKS are what make #KS03 such a great place to call home. Loved hearing about the exciting projects and progress happening there!"
On August 14, 2025, Davids discussed her work supporting individuals with disabilities through bipartisan legislation. She noted: "I joined Rachel for a shift at @KUMedCenter and saw how ABLE accounts help workers with disabilities build financial security. My bipartisan bill would fix gaps in the system so more people can benefit."
Sharice Davids has served as the representative for Kansas’s 3rd District since replacing Kevin Yoder in 2019. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980, she currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and earned her JD from Cornell University in 2010.
