Rep. Sharice Davids, U.S. Congresswoman representing Kansas’ 3rd district since 2019, has recently highlighted her legislative priorities and outreach efforts through a series of posts on social media.
On September 6, Davids addressed her stance on fiscal responsibility, stating, "I’m committed to responsible government spending — that’s why I’ve voted for legislation that lowers the national debt while still investing in what matters: health care, jobs, and education."
The following day, she emphasized her role as a member of the House Agriculture Committee Democrats (@HouseAgDems), focusing on agriculture policy and its impact on local communities. In her post dated September 7, Davids wrote: "As a member of @HouseAgDems, I'm working to ensure we pass a Farm Bill that:
Lowers grocery costs
Supports local businesses
Gives Kansas producers the tools to thrive".
On September 8, Davids announced opportunities for those interested in public service careers. She shared information about internship applications for her Overland Park and Washington D.C. offices: "Are you interested in a career in public service? My office is accepting applications for winter interns in my Overland Park and DC offices! Applications are due October 17.
