U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who serves Kansas’ 3rd district in Congress, recently highlighted several key issues affecting her constituents through a series of posts on social media.
On September 11, 2025, Davids recognized the contributions of health care workers during Direct Support Professional Recognition Week, stating, "During Direct Support Professional Recognition Week, I'm grateful for the health care industry workers who bring dedication, care, and compassion to the Kansas families they serve."
Later that day, she shared details about her engagement with local business leaders in Washington D.C., writing on September 11: "Spent the morning with the @KansasChamber discussing the issues that matter most to Kansans. Always great to see some familiar faces in DC!"
On September 12, Davids announced federal support for communities affected by severe weather events. She posted: "Good news: @POTUS approved a disaster declaration to help KS communities recover from severe storms. I worked with our entire delegation to make sure federal resources get home quickly."
Sharice Davids has represented Kansas’s 3rd District in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Kevin Yoder. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently residing in Roeland Park, Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
