Calling all Gardner veterans! On Monday, Nov. 7, the City of Gardner will host a Veterans Appreciation Reception to honor and celebrate Gardner veterans for their dedication and service to our country. The program starts at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 120 E. Main St. The mayor will recognize each veteran and present them with a token of appreciation. Please RSVP yourself and your guests by calling 913.856.0939 or emailing jtigerstrom-kelley@gardnerkansas.gov. Each veteran should be prepared to provide their name, branch, years of service and number of attendees.
