U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D., appeared on Fox Business' "Mornings with Maria" to discuss his concerns about the Biden administration's handling of border security and the Department of Justice.

During the interview, Senator Marshall expressed alarm over what he described as growing terrorist threats due to insufficient border control measures. He stated, "All the lights are blinking red, we’re very concerned… Hundreds of known terrorists have walked across the border. We talk about the known ‘gotaways.’ There’s been 2 million known ‘gotaways’ under Joe Biden." He emphasized that without a significant change in border policy, including mass deportations, these issues would persist.

Senator Marshall criticized President Biden's recent executive order on border security, calling it ineffective. "There’s more holes in this policy than Swiss cheese. It’s going to make no difference," he said. He further noted that overwhelmed border patrols are unable to manage the influx effectively: “The Obama Administration said that if we have over a thousand people crossing our border a day then we’re overwhelmed, that’s why all these terrorists get in.”

He also accused President Biden of indirectly aiding organized crime by not addressing the humanitarian crisis at the border adequately. "Right now, Joe Biden is complicit in helping organized crime... Joe Biden is actually helping the cartel, he’s empowering them, he’s helping them get rich," Marshall stated.

In addition to his comments on border security, Senator Marshall addressed what he perceives as politicization within the Department of Justice (DOJ). He singled out Matthew Colangelo for scrutiny due to his history with New York State Attorney General's office and his involvement in cases against Donald Trump. “This guy has a PhD in Trump Derangement Syndrome,” said Marshall.

Marshall called for transparency regarding Colangelo's activities within the DOJ: “Let’s get an entire log of every day that this guy has spent working for Merrick Garland.” He suggested that such records would reveal a targeted effort against Trump.

Finally, Senator Marshall mentioned an upcoming meeting with former President Donald Trump and other senators. "We’ll be meeting with the President here... We are going to do everything we can to slow down this weaponized justice system and listen to his agenda."
