Rep. Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 3rd district, recently shared several updates and reflections through her social media platform. The congresswoman, who succeeded Kevin Yoder in 2019, has been actively engaging with her constituents and expressing gratitude for various community members.

On November 20, 2024, Rep. Davids commemorated Transgender Day of Remembrance by honoring survivors and victims of anti-transgender hate crimes. She emphasized the importance of creating a world where everyone can live authentically without fear of violence. "On this Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor survivors and victims of anti-transgender hate crimes and work toward a world where everyone can be their most authentic selves without the fear of violence."

Later that day, she encouraged her followers to stay informed about her work by subscribing to her email newsletter. Through this medium, constituents can receive regular updates and important information directly in their inboxes. "To stay updated about my work for you and your families, subscribe to my email newsletter."

On November 22, 2024, Rep. Davids took time to acknowledge the efforts of law enforcement officers and first responders who contribute significantly to community safety often without recognition. She expressed her gratitude for their dedication during an engagement with them on that day."Our law enforcement officers and first responders work day in and day out to keep our communities safe – often without recognition."
