Rep. Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 3rd district, shared her thoughts on significant issues through a series of tweets. These tweets reflect on historical milestones, current postal service challenges, and healthcare accessibility in Kansas.

On December 6, 2024, Rep. Davids marked the anniversary of the ratification of the 13th Amendment with a reminder of ongoing efforts toward equality: "159 years ago, the 13th Amendment was ratified into law, abolishing slavery in the United States. This anniversary serves as a reminder that while we've made great progress, the work continues toward equality and justice for all Americans."

Two days later, on December 8, she addressed concerns regarding mail delivery issues: "Millions of Americans depend on USPS for essentials like paying bills, getting medications, and staying connected with loved ones. When Kansans shared concerns about missing mail and delays, I joined my colleagues in urging USPS to address these issues and find solutions."

Later that day, Rep. Davids highlighted her engagement with Community Care Kansas to discuss healthcare access: "Great meeting with @CommunityCareKS! We discussed their critical work ensuring Kansans can access affordable, high-quality health care, especially in underserved areas. I’m grateful for their dedication to strengthening our community's well-being."
