Senator Marshall supports key Trump cabinet nominees on Fox News

U.S. Senator Roger Marshall recently appeared on Fox News to discuss his meeting with key nominees for President Trump's cabinet, including Pete Hegseth and Linda McMahon. Senator Marshall expressed strong support for Pete Hegseth's nomination as Secretary of Defense and praised Department of Education nominee Linda McMahon.

In the interview, Senator Marshall emphasized his backing for Hegseth, stating: “Pete has my full-throated support. I think that what I love about Pete, first of all, is his heart – that he has a heart for warfighters, and he is more focused on those enlisted soldiers than he is on this industrial military complex of Washington, DC.”

He further highlighted the significance of military service in his family history: “Someone from every generation of my family has served in the military since the Civil War, and that is important to me – that he has the backs of those warfighters.” He also praised Hegseth’s communication skills and potential impact: “He will be a transformational figure that will support President Trump’s goals of making America great again, making America safe again. He’s going to do an incredible job.”

Senator Marshall expressed confidence in Hegseth's integrity and ability to connect with the American public: “I think anyone who will take the time to sit down and give him a fair interview is going to understand that this is a man of integrity...he’s going to do a great job.” He added: “I think when Pete Hegseth gets in front of the American people, he’s going to win their hearts over as well.”

Regarding Linda McMahon's nomination for Secretary of Education, Senator Marshall noted their productive conversation: “Linda McMahon and I had a great discussion this morning. She’s going to be another strong, strong leader. Education is important to every American.”
