Senator Marshall backs Stefanik for UN ambassador role

U.S. Senator Roger Marshall has expressed his support for House Republican Chairwoman Elise Stefanik, who has been nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as the United Nations Ambassador.

In a statement released after their meeting, Senator Marshall praised Stefanik's capabilities and leadership qualities. "Elise is an incredible warrior who will deliver results for President Trump and the America First agenda," he stated. He emphasized his confidence in her ability to enhance diplomatic relations and foster valuable partnerships on behalf of the United States.

Senator Marshall also highlighted the potential impact of Stefanik's leadership at the United Nations, stating, "With her leadership, we will strengthen our diplomatic relations, create valuable partnerships, and help deliver peace through strength." He concluded by affirming his full support for her nomination: "She has my full support."

Stefanik's nomination comes as part of President Trump's continued efforts to appoint individuals aligned with his administration's policies to key international positions.
