U.S. Senator Roger Marshall met with Kash Patel, President Donald Trump's nominee for the position of FBI Director. Following their meeting, Senator Marshall expressed his support for Patel's nomination.
"I am old enough to remember when the FBI was the most respected law enforcement agency in the world," said Senator Marshall. "Today, it’s a shell of what it once was and has lost Americans’ trust." He believes that Patel is well-suited to lead the agency towards regaining its former stature.
Senator Marshall praised Patel as "a man of integrity, committed to truth and justice, with an exceptional resume." He added that Patel would ensure the FBI operates for the benefit of American citizens rather than being used as a political tool. The senator anticipates a swift confirmation process for Patel.
