U.S. Senator Roger Marshall met with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nominee for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary under President Donald Trump. The meeting was part of Marshall's role on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
Senator Marshall expressed his support for Kennedy's objectives, particularly those aligned with the "Making America Healthy Again" initiative. He emphasized the importance of addressing chronic disease, enhancing nutrition and food policy, ensuring vaccine and drug safety, empowering physician-patient relationships, and promoting a cleaner environment for future generations.
Marshall stated: “Today, I had a great meeting with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the next Secretary of Health and Human Services. I strongly support many of his goals, especially as it relates to Making America Healthy Again (MAHA). As a nation, we must prioritize addressing chronic disease, improving nutrition and food policy, ensuring vaccine and drug safety, empowering the physician-patient relationship, and leaving our world cleaner, safer, and healthier for future generations."
He also expressed his intent to support Kennedy's nomination in order to aid the Trump Administration’s mission to enhance public health in America.
