After advocacy from U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, the Belleville Medical Clinic in Kansas, operated by Republic County Hospital, has been approved to serve Medicare and Medicaid patients. This approval allows the clinic to process claims and receive payments from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Senator Marshall expressed his satisfaction with the development, stating, "The Belleville Medical Clinic plays a critical role in delivering healthcare services to the Belleville community. Our office is proud to have helped the clinic clear the final hurdles to continue offering care to patients utilizing Medicare and Medicaid." He added that ensuring access to care for communities is his top priority.

In March, Republic County Hospital assumed management of Belleville Medical Clinic, converting it into a Rural Health Clinic. The hospital's leadership sought assistance from Senator Marshall’s office to expedite CMS approval. Following an inquiry by his office, CMS approved the necessary paperwork.

Republic County Hospital and Belleville Medical Clinic provide healthcare services to thousands of Kansans.
