Fort Riley, Kansas – Senator Roger Marshall has expressed his support and gratitude for the Kansas troops from Fort Riley who are being deployed to the southern border. In a statement released today, he acknowledged the role these soldiers play in securing the nation's borders.
"My heart is with Kansas families and loved ones as soldiers from Fort Riley are sent to protect and secure our borders," Senator Marshall stated. He extended appreciation on behalf of Kansans and Americans for the troops' efforts in maintaining safety.
Senator Marshall highlighted concerns regarding national security, referencing over two million illegal alien "gotaways" that entered the country under the previous administration. He attributed this issue to a compromise in national security.
He also emphasized former President Trump's commitment to halting the flow of fentanyl, cartels, and unvetted illegal immigrants into the United States. "President Trump is determined to stop the dangerous flow of fentanyl, cartels, and unvetted illegal immigrants coming into the United States and will protect our homeland," he said.
The senator concluded by thanking the troops for their service and expressing hopes for their safe return. "Thank you to these brave men and women for their selfless service to our great nation. Laina and I are praying for a safe and quick return home," Senator Marshall added.
