U.S. Senator Roger Marshall recently appeared on Fox News Live to discuss several key topics, including President Trump's Cabinet nominees, the confirmation of Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, the Laken Riley Act, and troop deployments to secure the border.

Senator Marshall expressed his support for Hegseth's confirmation, stating that he has met with various nominees and believes they are well-suited to advance President Trump's agenda. "Like President Trump just said it is all about winning. It’s the final score that does matter," he remarked regarding Hegseth's appointment.

Marshall also discussed Kristi Noem's nomination for Secretary of Homeland Security. He highlighted her qualifications by saying, "It’s important to remember why this is so important to get these nominations across the finish line... Kristi is tough as nails."

Brooke Rollins' nomination for USDA Secretary was another point of discussion. Marshall praised her agricultural background: "You’re going to love Brooke Rollins. She’s going to give agriculture a strong, strong voice."

The senator also mentioned RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard in his interview. On RFK Jr., he noted, "I think he’s winning people over," while emphasizing Gabbard's commitment to transparency: "All she’s about is transparency."

Regarding the Laken Riley Act, which has passed both chambers of Congress, Marshall explained its purpose: "What it does if you’re an illegal alien in this country and you break a law, it requires the local police to hold that person until ICE gets there."

Finally, Marshall thanked troops being sent to secure the border: "President Trump’s goal is to have zero gotaways... Thanks for helping make America safe again."
