Rep. Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 3rd district, has expressed her commitment to addressing issues impacting Kansans through a series of tweets. Davids, who succeeded Kevin Yoder in 2019, has been vocal about her dedication to ensuring safety and affordability for her constituents.

On February 1, 2025, Rep. Davids tweeted regarding the ongoing efforts by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) following a tragedy. She emphasized the need for action alongside answers: "Kansans deserve answers, and the @NTSB is working to provide them — but they also deserve action." As a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Aviation Subcommittee, she reaffirmed her commitment to maintaining safe skies.

In a tweet dated February 3, 2025, Rep. Davids criticized proposed tariffs by President Trump that could increase costs for Kansas families: "(1/2) Kansas families are already feeling the squeeze, & now President Trump wants to impose tariffs that could raise their costs by thousands of dollars a year." She accused the administration of prioritizing corporate interests over everyday people.

Following this statement on February 3, she continued with another tweet focusing on economic policies: "(2/2) I’ve been focused on lowering costs — whether it’s prescription drugs, energy bills, or groceries — and I’ll keep working to ensure families, farmers, and small businesses aren’t left paying the price for reckless economic policies." Davids reiterated her efforts to reduce expenses for households and businesses amid what she described as harmful economic decisions.
