U.S. Senator Roger Marshall appeared on Newsmax's National Report to discuss several key topics, including the Senate's advancement of RFK, Jr.'s nomination as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the National Prayer Breakfast, and National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

Regarding RFK, Jr.'s nomination, Senator Marshall expressed optimism about his confirmation: “I think that he’ll make it across the finish line. This may be down partisan lines, but I just want to thank all the people that reached out to their Senators in support of Bobby Kennedy, Jr. Look, he’s going to be a great disruptor. He’s going to focus on chronic health and trying to make people healthy again by preventing these diseases, by focusing on proper nutrition, by decreasing the toxins we are exposed to. I think he’s going to be a game-changer.”

He acknowledged potential challenges from Democrats but remained confident: “So, yeah, the Democrats are going to bring out all the tools that they’ve got. They’re just really hung up on a couple issues. It feels like a barroom brawl here in DC right now, but we’ll get him across the finish line.”

On the topic of faith and history at the National Prayer Breakfast, Senator Marshall highlighted its significance: “America’s faith has provided a moral compass for this nation since its beginning." He reflected on past presidents' reliance on faith during critical moments in history and shared an anecdote about President Eisenhower's involvement in establishing what became known as the National Prayer Breakfast.

Lastly, discussing President Trump's stance on women and girls in sports, Senator Marshall commended his actions: “I just appreciate the President leadership’s once again, that he’s doing what he said he was going to do. Promises made promises kept.” Reflecting on Title IX's impact since 1972 and current debates over gender participation in sports, he stated: “I have yet to meet a person that thinks it’s okay for boys to compete against girls... It’s not safe for boys to compete in girls’ sports.”

Senator Marshall reiterated his support for maintaining fairness within women's sports under President Trump's policies.
