Rep. Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 3rd district, shared her views and legislative efforts through a series of tweets. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany, in 1980, Davids has been an active political figure since replacing Kevin Yoder in 2019. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
On February 4, 2025, Rep. Davids tweeted about her personal connection to military families and her legislative initiative aimed at supporting Veteran-owned small businesses. "Growing up w/ a parent in the army, I saw the challenges service members face when transitioning to new jobs." She introduced the SERV Act to address barriers such as access to capital for these businesses. The act was previously passed in 2023, and she expressed hope for its passage again this year.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Davids expressed condolences following a tragic incident involving Flight 5342. "My heart goes out to the families of those lost on Flight 5342." Alongside her Kansas colleagues, she participated in honoring the victims with a moment of silence.
